KISS frontman Gene Simmons says it’s time for celebrities to “shut their pie holes” about the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.
In an interview with FOX Business Network’s Charles Payne, the iconic rocker says like it or not, Donald Trump won.
As for celebrities, Simmons said it’s “the height of foolishness” to care what they think.
He said America is at the “brink of insanity where some people might even consider it a good idea for people living in Malibu to decide our foreign policy.”
“I’m not one of them, I think celebrities should basically shut their pie holes and do what they do best—act, sing, tap dance… all that kind of stuff,” Simmons told Payne.
“President-elect Trump is the president,” he continued. “You can like it, you cannot like it. He’s the new president, that’s the end of the story.”
