Plenty of words come to mind when thinking of the economy under President Obama.
“Boom” is not one of them.

President-elect Trump inherits President Obama’s economic boom https://t.co/QnZwsxu8tI pic.twitter.com/ozTESHF6Qv
— POLITICO (@politico) December 2, 2016
The absurd headline from Politico was meant to be serious, which made it all the more entertaining.
@politico Over 95 million people left the labor force, but go on with your Obama fluffing.
— JackO’Spades (@Jack0Spades) December 2, 2016
.@politico Apparently you’ve changed the definition of ‘boom’.
— The Mad Hessian (@TheMadHessian) December 3, 2016
The left continues to live in denial and apparently liberal media publications think the public will go along for the ride.
The headline of this story was only the tip of the iceberg as the liberal publication reported:
“But the latest numbers show the president-elect will in fact inherit a fairly robust economy with the lowest jobless rate in nearly a decade, record home and stock prices and a healthy growth rate.”
@politico if by “economic boom” you mean “shadow recession” then yes.

— James Steed (@James_May_Not) December 2, 2016
Are they talking about the same U.S. economy?
“Trump instead will take office with an economy near full employment and wages and spending rising. The economy is in such strong shape that the Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates again later this month to try and cool things off.”
@politico if by “economic boom” you mean “shadow recession” then yes.

@mistaj12 @politico FIFY: President-elect Trump inherits President Obama’s economic doom.
— SgtShuffle (@SgtShuffle) December 3, 2016
@politico Wait, didn’t Hillary just spend 18 months telling us how she was going to make everything better economically? I’m so confused!
— Joe Dougherty (@joe_dougherty) December 3, 2016
Wow.
If there is an economic “boom” going on, the voters must have made a mistake rejecting Hillary Clinton and Obama’s legacy by electing Donald Trump.

@politico Lol. You’d think that if there was an economic boom going on voters would want to stay the course. I guess Hillary really sucked.
— FREE-Man (@BotchedLobotomy) December 2, 2016
@politico sure, that’s why eight more years of his agenda got rejected. Nice try but you no longer have credibility.
— Ruben Flores (@Revolutioncalli) December 2, 2016
@politico This is the biggest piece of horse manure I have seen yet from Politico.
— Ronald Gerdes (@RonGerdes) December 2, 2016
@politico LOL, no. #tryharder #thiswontfly #thenationisamess If things were so awesome, Hillary would have won.

— Uncle Facts (@unclefacts) December 3, 2016
@politico His economic boom? Are u people smoking crack? What’s the national debt? Idiots. Learned nothing from Americans during election
— Deplorable Sr. Chief (@supersenior76) December 2, 2016
WOW! Here I thought being unemployed was the opposite of a boom!
I need to learn liberal speak! Something from George Orwell?— Bruce Outintheboonie (@outintheboonie1) December 3, 2016
@politico Um…..that boom was the sound of the bottom falling out…. Get your hearing checked.
