An energetic Mississippi pastor is drawing lots of attention for his unique take on the 2016 presidential election.
Pastor John Kilpatrick, from the Evangel Temple Church in Meridian, expressed his great pleasure with the outcome of the November 8 election and repeatedly lapsed into speaking in tongues as he did so.
Kilpatrick said our government has spent the last eight years trying “to capture the minds of Americans,” but it was his take on Hillary Clinton that drew plenty of chuckles.
…with Clinton naturally playing the role of “Jezebel.”
“Thank the Lord for the victory! Thank you for saving our nation!” Kilpatrick cried out. “Thank you, Lord, for bringing Jezebel down! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Now that’s one high energy sermon.
