Saturday Night Live gave America a glimpse at what the next four years of media coverage is going to look like, by panning what the past week and a half of tv news coverage has looked like.
The sketch comedy show took a swipe at how the cable news industry, particularly CNN, repeat the same talking points to attack President-elect Donald Trump.
The skit showed a faux Anderson Cooper hosting a panel of Van Jones, David Axelrod, Gloria Borger, Dana Bash and Kayleigh McEnany who repeated the same lines again, and again no matter what “breaking news” Cooper read until Cooper finally “malfunctioned” and was replaced with Jake Tapper.
