Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, announced this weekend that the new president-elect’s announcement of his choice for White House chief of staff would be “imminent.”

One name that has been tossed around to fill that position is Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, but Conway would neither confirm nor deny that he would be the ultimate appointee.
In addition to Priebus “there are several people being considered” she told reporters at Trump Tower just prior to her meeting with the president-elect.
Conway, who is largely credited for bringing the Republican nominee’s campaign on track, wouldn’t comment on any position she may have been offered by Trump. She did say, however, that she would welcome some role in the Trump administration.
In addition to turning the campaign around, Conway managed to break a glass ceiling by becoming the first woman in U.S. history to manage a successful presidential bid.

“It feels good,” Conway told The New York Post in an interview.
“I’m not a big gender-identity person, and I wasn’t hired for my gender, but it’s . . . a pretty cool thing to say to my three daughters and my son. Many women work really hard and never get their shot. I feel blessed to have gotten my shot.”
New York Magazine national affairs editor Gabriel Sherman reported that Conway preferred to continue running her own political polling business rather than join the administration.

Not so fast. She immediately responded that those reports were not true. She’s looking forward to continuing her working relationship with Trump — and it’s obviously a winning combination.
