One Bernie fan can single-handedly keep Hillary Clinton from the White House, NY Post tells us how

Could one Bernie Sanders fan keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House? The New York Post says yes, and here’s how:

Robert Satiacum is a member of Washington’s Puyallup Tribe, and an elector for Washington State, a state nearly certain to go in the Clinton column.

“No, no, no on Hillary. Absolutely not. No way,” he told the Seattle Times.

If Satiacum goes through with his plan to withdraw his support he would deprive her of the White House.  According to the Post:

The catch is that if the final vote has Clinton with just enough states to reach the 270 votes in the Electoral College needed to win, and Satiacum follows through on his promise to be what’s known as a “faithless elector,” he could single-handedly send the election to the House of Representatives.

That’s never happened before because of a faithless elector.

What’s more, since each state’s House delegation has one vote, and there are more Republican states than Democratic, a House vote would almost certainly produce a Republican president.

“I hope it comes down to a swing vote and it’s me,” Satiacum said. “Good. She ain’t getting it. Maybe it’ll wake this country up.”

And he might not be the only one, even though not voting for the state’s popular vote pick would result in a $1,000 fine.

One year ago, Ann Coulter was mercilessly laughed at on Bill Maher’s stage … but who’s laughing now?

Bret Chiafalo, another Democrat elector, told the Times he might be a “conscientious elector” and vote for a candidate he believes is capable of doing a better job.

“I have no specific plans, but I have not ruled out that possibility,” he said.

But Satiacum said he has heard from other electors nationwide who are considering doing the same thing as him.

He received both love and hate social media for his decision.

And then there are the Clinton supporters, who complain about Donald Trump’s language.
