The Los Angeles Times is suffering from a case of bi-polar disorder with its new polls.
For Donald Trump, the news is good in the popular vote poll that showed him holding a 4.6 point lead over Hillary Clinton.
But the electoral map is a disaster for the Republican presidential candidate.
It showed Hillary Clinton crushing Trump with 352 electoral votes and sweeping the battleground states of Arizona, Florida, Michighan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
.
@scalzi @latimes @JasonSilva That would seem to mean not even the LA Times believes the LA Times tracking poll, which amuses me.

Um LA Times, if your crazy tracking poll has Trump +5 yet you think this’ll be the electoral map…something’s broken. https://t.co/7IpY5djP1h

LA times projects Clinton will win with 352 electoral votes but LA times tracking poll shows Clinton losing by 7 points. #Consistency https://t.co/Y7cdpOAwq8

The LA Times tracking poll and their national electoral vote projections do not square with each other. https://t.co/EOvci9KWp3
