To forgive may be divine, but to err is Huma.  Abedin, that is.

Hillary Clinton‘s top aide, Huma Abedin, could be in major legal trouble if any classified government emails are found on the laptop of her husband, Anthony Weiner.

The FBI is combing “through Weiner’s computer to see if there are classified records on it,” Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge said. “If there are classified records found on that computer, she has real legal jeopardy.”

Abedin was the deputy chief of staff at the State Department during Clinton’s four-year stint as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013.

When Abedin left the State Department in 2013, she signed a “separation agreement,” saying she would return all government data related to her job.

But according to a new FBI criminal investigation, there are up to 650,000 emails that were sent to or from Clinton’s unsecured server to Abedin on her family’s laptop, which husband Anthony Weiner allegedly used to sext underage girls.

Abedin said she has no idea how her emails ended up on her husband’s laptop.

Making matters worse, new evidence suggests the 650,000 Clinton emails on Weiner’s laptop are new — not copies of emails already turned over to the FBI.

If classified emails are found on Weiner’s laptop, that could also spell trouble for President Obama, who previously denied knowing that Clinton had used a private, unsecured email server.

According to Wikileaks emails and government sources, Obama used a private email alias and a personal BlackBerry to communicate with Clinton when she was Secretary of State.

Abedin told the FBI she “had to tell the White House” whenever Clinton changed her email address to make sure Obama’s BlackBerry phone would accept it. By now, it’s public knowledge that Clinton sent numerous emails from her private email address to Obama.

“[This may be] another admission that the White House understood Clinton was using this private server for government business, and that the president was OK with it because they were allowing updates to the email [address] to be made,” Fox News’ Herridge said.

Herridge highlighted that Obama acted “dismissive” of the FBI probe and pointed out his alleged involvement has been missing from the discussion revolving around the new investigation.

“President Obama, with all due respect, really has a horse in this race, and has a vested interest in the outcome,” she said.
