This blue state would turn red if its statewide high school mock election is any indication

Minnesota liberals were gobsmacked after a mock presidential election in the state’s schools returned a victory for GOP nominee Donald Trump!

Even in Minnesota, one of the most liberal states in the country, Donald Trump narrowly beat out Hillary Clinton as students across the state took to their mock election booths, WCCO reported.

The first round of results were confirmed by Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon who announced on November 1 that Trump received 34.97 percent of the vote to Hillary’s 32.89.

“More than 77,000 students from 213 high schools participated in the first round of the mock election,” WCCO reported. “More schools are slated to hold mock elections in the coming days before the Nov. 8 general election.”

This is far from the only mock election school kids have given to Donald Trump. Kids in Maine also picked Trump over Clinton in a 42.3 percent to 39.5 percent vote.
