Judicial Watch sues for FBI records of Loretta Lynch, Bill Clinton tarmac meeting

On Friday, the conservative government watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI related to its “investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a non-government email server during her tenure.”

The documents requested includes FBI “302” documents, which are reports of FBI investigation interviews as well as “All records related to the meeting between Attorney General Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on June 27, 2016.”

Judicial Watch reported:

On June 29, [sic] 2016, Attorney General Loretta Lynch is reported to have met privately with former President Bill Clinton on board a parked private plane at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona. The meeting occurred during the then-ongoing investigation of Mrs. Clinton’s email server, and mere hours before the Benghazi report was released publicly involving both Mrs. Clinton and the Obama administration. Judicial Watch filed a request on June 30 that the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General investigate that meeting.

‘We do not have a warrant’: Officials say Loretta Lynch has not given FBI a warrant for new Huma emails yet

Eight days after that meeting, FBI Director James Cpmey announced that he would not recommend charges against the former secretary of State.

Judicial Watch indicated that while the FBI has released some of its records relating to its investigation of Clinton’s use of a private server, others have been withheld.

“FBI Director James Comey’s promise to the American people of transparency about the FBI’s investigation of Clinton was an empty promise – otherwise we wouldn’t be in federal court seeking this information,” Judicial Watch President Tom Litton said in a statement. “An air of corruption surrounds the FBI/Justice Department investigation of Hillary Clinton and so, through this lawsuit, Judicial Watch is investigating the investigators.”

FBI sources told there New York Post that they believe some sort of a deal was struck at the Clinton-Lynch meeting.

“This is very, very unusual. I’ve never signed one, never circulated one to others,” a retired FBI chief said.

Judicial Watch tweeted:

If Huma’s lie about turning everything over doesn’t destroy her, THIS State Dept. document will bury her
