Clinton campaign circulates letter asking ex-prosecutors to criticize Comey

Hell hath no fury like a Clinton scorned.

Hillary Clinton‘s camp circulated a letter to former federal prosecutors, asking them to hammer FBI Director James Comey for reopening a criminal investigation into Clinton’s unsecured e-mail server 11 days before a presidential election.

“Director Comey’s letter is inconsistent with the prevailing Department policy, and it breaks with longstanding practices followed by officials of both parties during past elections,” the Oct. 30 letter said (see below).

Interestingly, the open letter makes no mention of the fact that Hillary Clinton’s actions were inappropriate and most likely illegal. Instead, it basically criticizes Comey for hurting her chances to get elected president.

Holder then followed up with a scathing takedown of Comey in a brutal Washington Post op-ed.

The brouhaha erupted October 28, after Comey reopened a criminal investigation to probe whether Clinton had mishandled classified information by using a secret, unsecured email server to conduct State Department business during her four-year stint as Secretary of State.

The new FBI probe has eroded Clinton’s poll numbers, as Democratic pollster Pat Caddell now predicts a Trump landslide.

Comey was widely panned in July 2016, when he recommended that Clinton not be indicted despite an avalanche of evidence suggesting she had endangered national security by using an unsecured server.

At the time, the Clinton camp praised Comey to the skies for letting her off the hook, but have since done an about-face after he reopened the FBI investigation.

Comey recently admitted before Congress that Clinton had lied when she claimed she did not send or receive classified information on her private email account.

Thousands of newly released Wikileaks emails show Clinton and her camp tried desperately to shade the truth about her private server and were well aware that what she did was wrong.

The FBI recently discovered that as many as 650,000 emails sent to or from Clinton’s private email server were found on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin.

Abedin claims she has no idea how her emails ended up on her husband’s laptop.

Her claims of ignorance are truly terrifying, because if Clinton were elected president, Abedin could end up being White House chief of staff.
