NBC’s “Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd thinks the Clinton Foundation needs to close its doors if Hillary Clinton becomes president.
In an interview with WGN Radio Todd referenced the hacked emails from Wikileaks that purportedly showed Doug Band bragged about how many millions he helped secure for former President Bill Clinton while simultaneously raising millions for the Clinton Foundation.
“Let me go to bottom line: There is no way under any circumstance the Clinton Foundation should be operating if she becomes president,” Todd said Thursday.
“I just don’t see how they can keep that going.”
Todd said it’s unlikely that the public is going to believe that the Foundation wasn’t corrupt but “she’s got an opportunity, again, if she doesn’t do half measures here, if they shut it down to at least make this — to at least limit the political damage.”
