With Hillary Clinton claiming on a hip-hop morning show that “hot sauce” is something she always has in her bag, the Democratic nominee showed how important it was to pander to black voters.
…until she went before Hispanic voters this week.
Appearing on the Univision Show “El Gordo y La Flaca,” Clinton declared that Mexican food is her most favorite — which is at least consistent with toting around hot sauce.
The answer could mean Clinton feels comfortable that she has secured the black vote or is a sign of how important the Latino vote is for her to prevail in a critical swing state like Florida.
And proving that her pandering knows no limits, the candidate added that her 2-year-old granddaughter is already learning Spanish.
Ironically, the New York Post noted that Clinton listed her favorite New York restaurants in an interview earlier this year with “Thrillist,” but failed to name a single Mexican establishment.
