Ivanka Trump is asked about dad’s claim that the election is rigged — tears into ‘vicious’ media

Ivanka Trump tore into the “vicious” mainstream media during an appearance at Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women summit on Wednesday.

Time Magazine’s Nancy Gibbs asked the daughter of the Republican presidential nominee if she subscribed to her father’s theory that election is “rigged.”

“I will tell you that the media has been vicious and, look, there’s a lot of business people in the room. We’ve all had articles written about us by the business press that we say, ‘Hmm, you know, that wasn’t exactly fair,’ or you know the fact-check—there’s a few things off.

“But you know, this has been, this has been a different level. And look, we take it personally,” she said as she described a recent article in the New York Times that claimed the Trump brand was being “decimated” though the information the Trump organization provided the paper proved otherwise.

“I think that the bias is very, very real. And I don’t think I would have said this to you even a year ago. I don’t. But I’ve just—I’ve seen it too many times. It’s tremendous,” Trump added.

Gibbs asked the business mogul if it was important that he father concede if Hillary Clinton won the election.

“Well, look, my father is in this to win it, and I’m not interested in talking about alternative outcomes, and of course I think my father will always do the right thing. That’s the type of person he is.” she said. “He’ll either win or he won’t win, and I believe he’ll accept the outcome either way.”
