Many in the media were aghast at Donald Trump’s insistence on a “wait and see” approach to accepting the election results after all the ballots have been cast, or mysteriously discovered in someone’s trunk, or whatever the case may be on November 8th.

However, Fox News Senior Political Analyst Brit Hume was just cheeky enough to point out their rank hypocrisy on this particular issue:

Just seven years ago, Hillary Clinton herself said Bush was “selected not elected,” and now she wants to deny Trump the right to challenge the results should they be, er, suspect? Meanwhile, what WAS suspect was the way Al Gore tried to manipulate the results in 2000.

For his part, Trump has clarified his position on the issue:

Seems fair enough, right? If you’re not in the business of rigging elections, you’ve got nothing to worry about!
