CNN commentator Van Jones reacted to Wednesday’s presidential debate by tearing into Donald Trump and calling him a “turd.”
“You know this is a very sad night. This is a sad night for this country. You can’t polish this turd,” Jones said.

Trump’s refusal to say he would accept the results of the election set off Jones who went on a rant about the Republican presidential nominee, calling his actions “appalling.”
“What you just got now was the nominee of a major party for the first time in our history signaling to the American people that he has so little faith in our institutions, he has so little faith in our people, he has so little faith in our courts, he has so little faith in the Republican governors, the Republican secretaries of state across this country, that he will not stand in front of his own country, in front of his own nation and say that he respects the process and outcome,” Jones said.
Despite various reports of voter fraud and tampering with election results, the left-wing mainstream media continues to turn a blind eye, choosing instead to focus on name-calling and feigned outrage that a Republican would dare question the process.
Jones, who served as President Obama’s green-jobs czar in 2009, continued the attack on Trump.
“The appalling lack of of patriotism from this man to stand there and say that, to praise Putin and Assad,” Jones said. “This man has demonstrated an appalling lack of patriotism.”
And if his soap box tirade was not enough, Jones even blasted Trump supporter and CNN contributor Jeffrey Lord, saying he should be ashamed to defend the GOP nominee.
