President who’s whined about Republicans for 8 years to Trump: ‘Stop whining and go get some votes’

President Obama had the audacity to call out Donald Trump for “whining” about what the GOP nominee has been calling a rigged election.

Obama, who has whined about Congressional Republicans for eight years and blamed everything on the GOP, mocked Trump for not having “what it takes to be in this job.” The remarks were made Tuesday during a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

“There’s no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections,” the president said. “There’s no evidence that that has happened in the past. Or that there are instances in which that will happen this time. An so I’d advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.”

Obama obviously did not see the irony in his rebuke of Trump, lecturing the Republican nominee on what leadership looks like when things don’t go your way.

“It doesn’t really show the kind of leadership and toughness that you’d want out of a president. You start whining before the game’s even over?” Obama said.  “If whenever things are going badly for you and you lose you start blaming somebody else? Then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job.”

Someone should hand the president a mirror.
