Trump retaliates on ‘very foul-mouthed John McCain’ for dropping him, triggers a trip down memory lane

Donald Trump fired back at Sen. John McCain  for his decision to withdraw support for the Republican presidential nominee.

“The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!” Trump tweeted on Tuesday.

The Arizona senator, and 2008 Republican presidential nominee, made his announcement over the weekend following the fallout from release of a video of Trump’s “locker-room remarks” made in a private conversation over a decade ago.

McCain may find himself on the wrong side of Trump supporters in his own Senate re-election campaign.

Some remembered that McCain was not so innocent himself.

In an Arizona Senate debate against Democratic Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick on Monday, McCain said he might write in Sen. Lindsey Graham as his presidential choice.

In other words — a vote for Hillary Clinton.
