Legendary actor Robert DeNiro is featured in a hard-hitting ad that rips Donald Trump to shreds.
Looking directly into the camera, the Hollywood liberal goes off on the GOP nominee, calling him “an embarrassment to this country.”
“Trump is so blatantly stupid,” DeNiro states. “He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a con, a bullshit artist who doesn’t know what he is talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming his society [and] doesn’t pay his taxes.”
“He’s an idiot. Colin Powell said it best: he’s a national disaster,” he adds.
The actor then threatens Trump with violence.
“He talks how he’d like to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face,” DeNiro says.
Interestingly, while he tells viewers if they care about their future to “vote for it,” DeNiro does not bring himself to name Democratic rival Hillary Clinton as a viable option.
While liberals lined up to sing DeNiro’s praises, social media users who support Trump were not nearly as thrilled with his utterings.
Here’s a sampling of the responses from Twitter:
