The White House coordinated with Hillary Clinton’s camp to stave off questions about her private email server, newly obtained documents showed.

One email revealed, then White House communications director, Jen Psaki in communication with the Clinton team to see how Secretary of State John Kerry could avoid “the swirl of crap out there” regarding Clinton’s server during his media appearances, the Wall Street Journal reported using new emails obtained by the Republican National Committee.

“Think we can get this done so he is not asked about email,” one conversation read.

In another email, a top official for the State Dept. gave assurances to Clinton’s attorney that the department hadn’t told Congress that Clinton made a mistake by using a private email server.

The RNC got a hold of the communications in a Freedom Of Information Act lawsuit, according to the Journal.
