Hillary Clinton jumped in with both feet to do her pandering dance following two police shootings of black men this week, but she wound up sticking her foot in her mouth.
While the jury is still out on what led to the shooting death of Terence Cutcher, who was killed after police responded to his vehicle being stuck in the middle of the street, all evidence seems to point to a justified shooting in the case of Keith Lamont Scott.
At a press conference Wednesday the police chief of Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Kerr Putney, who happens to be black, made clear what led to the death of the man whose shooting has caused riots in the city.
“The officers gave loud, clear verbal commands which were also heard by many of the witnesses,” Putney said. “They were instructing the subject, once he got out of the vehicle, to drop the weapon… Mr. Scott exited his vehicle armed with a handgun as the officers continued to yell at him to drop it.”
The chief lashed out at the narrative that has developed on social media after his daughter claimed her father had a book and not a gun.
Putney said police recovered a gun and no book was found near the scene.
“It’s time to change the narrative, because I can tell you from the facts that the story’s a little bit different as to how it’s been portrayed so far, especially through social media,” he said.
One of the people pushing the false narrative, in her desperate effort to hang on to black votes, was Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Keith Lamont Scott. Terence Crutcher. Too many others. This has got to end. -H

@HillaryClinton you are disgusting for jumping to the conclusion that those shootings were not justified. Give the police time to review.

@ctsotsoros For @HillaryClinton, saying a bombing was from a bomb prematurely is bad.Implying Scott was killed without justification is a-ok
