With just 52 days remaining and Donald Trump inching ahead in the polls, the GOP presidential nominee is beginning to have fun poking at not only Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, but the media as well.
At a raucous rally Friday night in Miami, the Trump campaign took full advantage of Clinton’s unforced error of claiming “you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.”
Not only did the stage backdrop feature a YUGE mock-up image reading “Les Deplorables,” the candidate made his grand entrance while the Les Misérables’ revolution-launching song “Do You Hear The People Sing” rang from the sound system.
“Welcome to all you deplorables,” Trump said in greeting his supporters.

And while many in the media were beside themselves over the pomposity of Trump’s grand entrance, social media ate it up, with one user noting, “Trump kills it in Miami.”
