Forget Hillary Clinton’s health issues, her 9/11 collapse, her missing emails, her blanket “basket of deplorables” insult, and all the other deceptions and scandals surrounding the Democratic Party’s attempts to maintain their stranglehold on the White House at all costs.
Because (point point – don’t look here, look over THERE!) racism, and [shriek!] David Duke!!
Like a football coach dragging out a tried-but-true play to get a few yards on third down, the liberal media is frantically trying to shift public attention away from the real issues surrounding this campaign by dredging up old ones that have long been buried (except Clinton’s cozy relationship with ex-Klansman Robert Byrd – no need to mention that!).
And what better question for CNN’s Wolf Blitzer to ask Mike Pence than something about David Duke, you know, to see if he repudiates him fast enough and strongly enough to avoid media criticism. Of course, it’s an impossible task.

It’s a no-win situation, of course, as Trump himself knows after not “denouncing” Duke fast enough the 45th time he was asked about it. Whatever you do, you’re going to do something they can point and shriek at. In Pence’s case, he denounced Duke but refused to give Clinton credibility by using her verbiage, and now, naturally, the media is trying to make as much hay out of it as they can sell.
To continue with the football analogy, you can only run a play so many times before the defense figures it out. National Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson was asked a similar question by CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday, and she responded like a champ:
This interview! LMAO! https://t.co/YRLyeBnUbK "The only reason David Duke has a platform is because CNN keeps talking about it!" Classic!

A classic indeed! Clearly, the likes of CNN and Hillary Clinton aren’t worried about whether Duke has a platform or not, only that they can smear Trump and his campaign by somehow associating them with it.
