If Bill Clinton thought he was helping his wife, he should probably stop.
The former president shared that Hillary Clinton has “on more than one occasion” become severely dehydrated and experienced “the same sort of thing” that happened when she appeared to have fainted leaving a 9/11 event Sunday.
“Rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she’s worked like a demon, as you know, as secretary of state, as a senator, and in the years since,” Clinton told Charlie Rose in an interview clip that aired on CBS News on Monday.

“She had two-and-a-half hard days before the day when she got dizzy,” Clinton said. “Today she made a decision, which I think was correct, to cancel her campaign day to take one more day to rest.”
Reaction on social media focused on the revelation that the dehydration and fainting was not a first for the Democratic presidential nominee.
Oh boy MT @ABCLiz Bill Clinton says “on more than one occasion” “the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated.”

Bill apparently didn’t get the memo that it’s s’posed to be pneumonia. Says Hillary’s doctors say it’s dehydration. https://t.co/Dhxy9gFrLq

@jimgeraghty wait so we’re back to dehydration as the story? No more pneumonia?

But I thought it was pneumonia? Though, the confirmation that Hillary “works like a demon” is a nice touch. https://t.co/cz522cFrhG

“Well if it is, it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors,” says Bill Clinton when Rose says video looked more serious than dehydration

It’s really time to retire the old champion. He was great in his day, but his day is gone. https://t.co/5XazYzyvx8

@jimgeraghty Bill said “she’s worked like a demon”. For once, I am not disagreeing with Bill.
