Retired cop who ‘buried 7 friends’ that died in the line of duty pens powerful open letter to Kaepernick

An open letter from a retired Virginia police officer giving Collin Kaepernick a piece of his mind has gone viral.

Chris Amos, who served on the Norfolk Police force, called out the anti-American quarterback who has decided not to stand for the national anthem and shared the letter on his Facebook page.

Amos posted the letter on Monday and by Wednesday it had been shared more than 25,000 times.

It was grabbed by other Facebook pages as well, including “Police Officers” where it was shared more than a quarter of a million times.

Social media loved it.
