Trump fires back: When Dem policies fail, they’re left with only one tired argument: ‘You’re racist’

Donald Trump, and his supporters, didn’t take charges of racism lying down.

After Hillary Clinton released an ad that tried to link Trump to the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke, and just before she gave a speech where she accused Trump supporters of being racists and white supremacists, Trump called her out on her act of desperation.

“It’s the oldest play in the Democratic playbook,” he said. “When Democratic policies fail, they are left with only this one tired argument. ‘You’re racist. You’re racist, you’re racist,’ they keep saying it, ‘you’re racist.’ It’s a tired, disgusting argument. And it’s so totally predictable.

“They’re failing so badly. It’s the last refuge of the discredited Democrat politician,” he continued. “They keep going back to the same well but you know what? The people are becoming very smart. They’ve heard it too many times before. The well is dry.”

Clinton’s speech Thursday focused on what she called the “alt right” who she said consisted of mostly white males and accused it of being a “fringe element that has effectively taken over the Republican Party.”

She said that Trump was “taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican Party.”

Many on the “alt right” took to social media to defend themselves against the racism charges heaped on the by Clinton and her cohorts in the media.

Wow. Look at all those white males.
