O’Reilly goes there: Explains to black guests why they should vote for Trump

Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly explained to African-American guests on his show why black voters should rally behind Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump instead of remaining loyal to the Democratic Party.

‘The Democratic Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community,” O’Reilly said Thursday in the opening of “The O’Reilly Factor.”

“Why doesn’t the African-American community say we had a black president who didn’t really help us very much, Democratic Party hasn’t really helped us very much. Maybe we go supply-side economics and look for a guy that’s going to stimulate the economy and that perhaps would be better. Why don’t they do that?” he asked Florida defense lawyer Andell Brown.

Brown pointed to Trump’s history and his re-tweet of a “highly inaccurate” crime statistic that said “Black people killed 81 percent of white people.” O’Reilly admitted that it was “foolish” for Trump to have re-tweeted the “fallacious stat.”

He attempted to bring Brown back to addressing policies that are not currently working for the black community.

“We can’t have an election without looking at both sides,” Brown said.

“African-Americans are not looking at both sides,” O’Reilly countered. “They’ve written Trump off.”
