Looking past her media allies who want you to believe Hillary Clinton has the 2016 election in the bag, a political science professor insists that Donald Trump will walk away the winner.
… and he’s 87 percent certain of it.
Helmut Norpoth, a political science professor at New York’s Stony Brook University, is the author of “The Primary Model,” which forecasts presidential elections with great accuracy — the statistical model has correctly predicted the winner of the popular vote in all five presidential elections since being introduced in 1996, according to Norpoth.
The professor appeared on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on the Fox Business Network and stood by a prediction made in March that Trump is all but guaranteed to win in November.
“I know that if you look at the polls right now that’s not what polls are saying,” Norpoth told host Lou Hobbs. “But polls are how people feel today and the election is not for another two and a half months.”
One factor taken into consideration in the prediction is that the Democratic Party has held the White House for two terms, and the incumbent party seldom remains in power for a third term.
“The accuracy of the model built by Norpoth stands at 96.1 percent and works for every single presidential election going back to 1912, with the only exception being the 1960 contest, when John F. Kennedy narrowly defeated Richard Nixon,” noted InfoWar’s Paul Joseph Watson.
So Trump supporters can relax … and start focusing on the color of the new drapes in the Oval Office.
