Blindsided Orlando survivors stunned to discover they were at rally with terrorist’s father

Survivors of Orlando’sĀ Pulse nightclub terror attack were stunned to find out they attended the same rally for Democrat Hillary Clinton as their attacker’s father.

Jacobi Ceballo and Christopher Hansen, who lived throughĀ the June 12 massacreĀ that left 49 people dead and another 53 wounded, didn’t learn thatĀ Omar Mateen’s father Seddique Mateen was in theĀ audience until after Monday’s rally.

ā€œI opened up my Facebook and it was the first thing I saw,ā€ Hansen told ClickOrlando.

Hansen said he was there as a guest of Ceballo, who was invited by a representative from the Clinton campaign.

Ceballo told ClickOrlando that he ā€œwould have not comeā€ if he knew the killer’sĀ father was going to be there.

ā€œIā€™m outraged,ā€ Ceballo said. ā€œFor him to come back to Orlando, where his son created devastation, was also mind-blowing ā€¦ I feel, like, let down.ā€

Hansen disagreed.

ā€œYou canā€™t blame a parent for what a child has done,” he said.

The Clinton campaign issued a statement, after Clinton dodged a question about Mateen’s appearance at the Kissimmee, Florida, rally, saying it disavowed his support and claimed it didn’t know he would be there.

That’s something 2008 GOPĀ presidential candidate and formerĀ New York City MayorĀ Rudy Giuliani didn’t believe.Ā He said a politician’s staff generally pick who sits behind the candidate during a rally.
