Aren’t those folks hand-picked? How did Orlando terrorist’s dad get prime spot behind Hillary?

How did the father of Orlando night club shooter, Omar Mateen secure a seat right by Hillary Clinton?

It looked like Seddique Mateen temporarily put aside his alleged support of the Taliban to hear Clinton speak at a rally in Kissimmee, Florida on Monday.

What’s most curious was Seddique’s placement behind Clinton in full view of cameras and the world to see.

His presence seemingly shocked local WPTV 5 Florida news anchors who announced surprised reactions along with the footage. A reporter eventually caught up with Seddique hours after the rally and asked him how he got there.

“I was invited by the Democratic party.” Matteen said.

That’s when the reporter appeared to hit near panic mode. “Just like, a, come, come support Hillary, just a regular chain email? Or a personal invitation,” the reporter said.

Mateen seemed a bit taken aback and said as a member, he gets invitations, and added there was “nothing particular about it.” He said he was there to support Hillary, who in his mind makes a better candidate than Donald Trump.

The Florida rally seemed an exceptionally strange place for the Hillary supporter to want to be after his son was implicated in the mass murder of 49 lives.

Seddique attracted some negative attention after the horrific shooting when he responded to it by saying it was God’s job, not his son’s, to punish the sin of homosexuality. Yet, Hillary used the stage and location to issue a statment about the horrific Pulse nightclub shooting, with a smiling Seddique literally right there.

Those who follow politics know that seats behind political candidates are highly coveted and those who sit there are undoubtedly vetted.

After all, any ole’ shmuck sitting in a high-profile spot could hold up a negative sign, make lewd gestures, or… be the father of a mass murderer.

Oh, wait.

For now, we will just have to go on Seddique’s word that he just happened to pop in. At least, his support for Hillary should be enough to garner eagle-eyed scrutiny of the mainstream media.

When KKK leader David Duke endorsed Donald Trump the media reacted with lightning speed for Trump to disavow Duke, which he eventually did.

Will the same apply here? Will Clinton disavow, Seddique for his homophobic stances?

Probably not, as noted by many on Twitter.

Is the Hillary camp having regrets?

Exactly. But, for now the Hillary camp maintains its innocence and offered the following (ridiculous) statement:

Right.
