Bernie Sanders supporter who served DNC with lawsuit found dead; sets internet ablaze with speculation

One month after a Bernie Sanders supporter served the Democratic National Committee and its then-chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, with a civil complaint alleging fraud on behalf of Hillary Clinton, he was found dead in his Florida home.

In a video recorded by independent filmmaker Ricardo O. Villalba, the deceased, Shawn Lucas, appeared to be excited to serve papers on the DNC on July 3 — the day before Independence Day.

On July 22, Lucas was named in a motion filed by the DNC, seeking to dismiss the lawsuit on the bases of improper service of process.

An unconfirmed report indicates that on Tuesday Lucas was found dead by his girlfriend in the bathroom of his home.

Snopes reported that:

We contacted Lucas’ employer on 4 August 2016 to ask whether there was any truth to the rumor. According to an individual with whom we spoke at that company, Shawn Lucas died on 2 August 2016. The audibly and understandably shaken employee stated that interest in the circumstances of Lucas’ death had prompted a number of phone calls and other queries, but the company had not yet ascertained any details about Lucas’ cause of death and were unable to confirm anything more than the fact he had passed away.

An unconfirmed report holds that Lucas was found lying on the bathroom floor by his girlfriend when she returned home on the evening of 2 August 2016. Paramedics responding to her 911 call found no signs of life.

Given Lucas’ young age, news of his sudden death set social media ablaze with speculations of conspiracy — especially coming close on the heels of the July 10 murder of young DNC staffer Seth Rich.

Rich’s killer reportedly took nothing of value from the 27-year-old — with the exception of his life. His wallet, watch and cell phone were still on his person.

The “so many ‘strange’ deaths” she referred to is the list of dozens of suspicious deaths of people with ties to former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which has been compiled and updated by What Really Happened.

Interestingly enough, the former secretary of state chose Shonda Rhimes as her video biographer for the Democratic National Convention.

Rhimes is noted for creating “How to Get Away With Murder,” as well as “Scandal.”

But that’s just another coincidence — just like the one of the $400 million cash payment to Iran occurring on the same day Iran released four American hostages.

The Democratic Party is known for its coincidences.
