Wikileaks bust shows Clinton already handing out prized White House jobs to big money donors

Hillary Clinton and the DNC are already unethically handing out prized positions on presidential commissions and federal boards to big money campaign donors.

The document dump released by the whistle-blower website Wikileaks has claimed the scalp of the head of the DNC. Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned her party leadership position on the eve of the Democrat’s nominating convention over proof she and the party worked to undermine Bernie Sanders in his presidential bid — they went so far as to plan an assault on his religious beliefs in order to get Hillary Clinton the party’s nomination for president.

But the documents also seem to show that the DNC and Clinton staffers put out a call to high dollar donors to submit their names for cushy positions in the upcoming Clinton administration, should she win the election for president. A move that could get the Democrats in legal and ethical trouble, the Daily Caller reported.

According to Ken Boehm, the chairman of the government watchdog group National Legal and Policy Center, the emails in question show a shocking ethical lapse.

“The disclosed DNC emails sure look like the potential Clinton administration has intertwined the appointments to federal government boards and commissions with the political and fund-raising operations of the Democratic Party,” he said.

The emails make it look like the Democrat establishment was handing out these prized jobs not only long before Clinton was even nominated but certainly before she was even elected. This all raises serious questions of quid pro quo. Such appointments are usually something past presidents didn’t start doing until they had taken office and then only when the appointments became necessary, not far ahead of time like this to the point where it looks like the positions were unethically offered as immediate payback for donations.

According to the Wikileaks release, the documents contain the name of 23 obscure corporate executives and major fundraisers who are set to be offered these cushy, resume burnishing positions in such agencies as the United States Postal Service.

The list contains the names of mega donors such as grocery store chain executive David Shapira and his wife Cynthia, Leena Kennedy, General Biofuels CEO Wade Randlett, liquor magnate David Trone, and law firm heavy Robert Pietrzak, all of whom raised big dollars for Clinton as well as donated the max allowable by law from their own pockets.

There are also emails from DNC national finance director Jordan Kaplan informing donors to send the names of those they want rewarded with special jobs and board positions to DNC finance chief of staff Scott Comer.

Finally, the email dump also shows DNC Communications Chief Luis Miranda sending emails asking donors to submit their list of names for more fancy White House positions or jobs in the Washington establishment.

It all adds up to a free for all of paybacks the likes of which haven’t been seen in modern times.
