Not so funny anymore, hon? Wasserman Schultz’s cocky tweet to RNC chair bites her in the a**

Now that the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee has been stripped of any major speaking role in her party’s convention this week, a ribbing she gave to her Republican counterpart last week is coming back to haunt her.

On the opening day of the Republican National Convention, Debbie Wasserman Schultz tweeted to GOP national Chairman Reince Preibus:

And someone made a prediction that very day that turned out to be prophetic.

After sifting through nearly 20,000 Democratic National Committee emails released by hacker GUCCIFER 2.O, WikiLeaks discovered that the committee was making a conscious effort to see that Hillary Clinton came out the victor in the Democratic primary.

As a result, it was decided Saturday that Wasserman Schultz’s role at the convention will be purely procedural, to “gavel in and gavel out.”

Oops! Who needs help now? Social media roared while Wasserman Schultz, who is also a South Florida Congresswoman, fumed.
