How do you follow up on being in the national spotlight for four days at the 2016 Republican National Convention as your father is officially named the GOP’s presidential nominee?
For Donald J. Trump Jr., a date with his 9-year-old daughter fits the bill nicely.
But it’s not just the date that’s grabbing attention, it’s the courageous attempt at “pigtails.”
Taking “cute” to a whole other level, Donald Trump’s oldest son posted a photo on social media, along with the caption: “Not sure I can pull off the hairstyle my daughter wants me to rock before our daddy daughter date night

“After a week of living off of caffeine and adrenaline a good meal with my oldest will be awesome,” Trump Jr., said in a second tweet.
But sister Ivanka gave him a run for his money in the cuteness department, posting a photo of herself carrying her 3-month old son, Theodore James, on Instagram following her speech before the Cleveland convention.
And while detractors got plenty of cheap shots in, supporters couldn’t get enough of seeing the Trump family’s personal side. Here’s a sampling of some of those responses from Twitter:
@DonaldJTrumpJr Just be thankful you have enough hair on top of your head to even TRY “Pulling it off”! Some of us, not so lucky! 😎
