Just in case you thought team Cruz was done, his campaign mgr took snarky shot at Christie’s manhood

Former Ted Cruz campaign manager Jeff Roe fired back at Chris Christie for his criticism of the Texas senator’s speech at the Republican National Convention.

The New Jersey governor had blasted Cruz for his “awful, selfish speech” on Wednesday in which Cruz was met with boos after refusing to endorse the GOP nominee Donald Trump.

“That guy turned over his political testicles long ago,” Jeff Roe told radio host Chris Stigall Show on Thursday. “So I don’t take what he has to say with any meaning. You know, he embarrassed himself pretty quickly in this.”

Roe defended Cruz and his decision not to endorse Trump, refuting Christie’s argument that Cruz had pledged his support.

“Let’s just go through history here and time. Ted didn’t sign a pledge,” Roe said. “He didn’t sign a pledge to support a nominee by convention. You know, this speech went further than Ronald Reagan went on Gerald Ford. It went further than Kennedy did for Carter.”

Roe clarified that Cruz was motivated by principle and not politics in his refusal to endorse Trump.

“This is a guy that has a core set of principles and he’s not willing to waver those in the face of intense pressure,” he said.
