Ivanka was set to give a nice little speech for dad–but nobody was ready for what she ACTUALLY said

Talk about a tough act to follow!

Donald Trump’s elder daughter, Ivanka Trump fired up the delegates at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland Thursday with a positive and stirring 15-minute speech.

She told the crowd that against a field of 16 other, politically astute candidates, her father transformed himself from “the people’s champion” to “the people’s nominee.”

“My father taught my siblings and me the importance of positive values and a strong ethical compass,” she said. “He showed us how to be resilient, how to deal with challenges and how to strive for excellence in all that we do.”

Ivanka Trump added that another of her famous father’s lessons was to work not just for themselves — but for society as a whole.

She said that he has even often imparted his generosity and wisdom on total strangers who needed a break in life.

Addressing the issue of her father’s alleged misogyny, and no doubt, making an appeal to many Independents, she told the convention-goers that her father’s company has more female than male executives.

“Women are paid equally for the work that we do and when a woman becomes a mother she is supported — not shut out,” Ivanka Trump said to the cheering delegates.

During her father’s address, people were clamoring for a return of Ivanka Trump’s uplifting message.

But her conservative message was peppered with a few liberal talking points as well, all of which set some tongues wagging.

Tough act to follow indeed.
