Target wouldn’t listen to Conservatives; man identifying as a woman does the unthinkable in Idaho store

Police in Idaho Falls , Idaho, arrested a man dressed as a woman who claimed to be transgender and charged him with voyeurism for taking photos of a women in the changing room of a Target store, reports reveal.

46-year-old Sean Patrick Smith was arrested when a Target customer said she saw Smith using his cell phone to take images of a woman removing her clothing in the store’s women’s changing room, according to Daily Caller.

“The woman was begging for help as she chased the man out the door. She kept saying she wanted those pictures deleted,” a witness told EastIdahoNews.com.

Police said the suspect “identifies” as a woman and wanted to be addressed as “Shauna Patricia Smith.”

Smith was charged with one felony count of voyeurism, and was booked into the Bonneville County Jail as a male. Smith could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.

The situation at Target is complicated by the retailer’s national policy of allowing men who claim to be women to use whatever bathroom or changing room they want to use at any given time. The store announced its “transgender” policy in April but a major boycott effort soon started and it wasn’t long before the company’s stock plummeted.

Responding to the stock drop, Target CEO Brian Cornell insisted that the loss was not a result of the boycott but was a result of the “wet and cold start of the year.”
