Following the Dallas, Texas police shooting attack, where five officers were killed and others wounded, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti decided to hold a different kind of press conference.
Garcetti held the press conference to acknowledge the victims of the Dallas police shootings, according to FOX11 News, saying that “We cannot let hate spread like a disease in our country.”
But, Garcetti did not pick, local police officers to rally around him in a show of support. Instead, he invited the likes of Snoop Dogg, The Game and spokesman with the ‘Nation of Islam.’

Snoop Dogg and The Game attended a protest outside Los Angeles Police Department headquarters before the press conference to lambaste the shooting deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling, both of whom were allegedly shot by police officers, according to the Global Post.
