Paul Ryan doesn’t trust Hillary; formally requests she be denied access to ALL classified information

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R, WS) is now saying Hillary Clinton should be formally denied a security clearance and barred from being privy to any classified information after revelations from the FBI that she opened up the U.S. to easy hacking by foreign actors and was “careless” with the nation’s security with her illicit private email server.

Ryan said that she has clearly proven to be untrustworthy with the nation’s security and should have her clearance revoked “for the duration of her candidacy for president,” The Hill reported.

“As a former vice presidential nominee, I am keenly aware that Secretary Clinton is set to begin receiving classified intelligence briefings after the Democratic National Convention,” Ryan wrote in a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. “However, while declining to recommend changes, Director Comey stated that ‘this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.”

“Given the FBI’s findings,” Ryan added, “denying Secretary Clinton access to classified information certainly constitutes appropriate sanctions.”

Ryan also wrote in a letter to Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper that he firmly believes “this is necessary to reassure the public that our nation’s secrets are secure.”

FBI chief James Comey revealed this week that when she was Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton’s private email server she had set up in her home in New York was likely hacked by foreign enemies and the thousands of secret and sensitive documents she sent over the server were likely intercepted putting the nation’s security at risk. Though he refused to recommend she be indicted, her breach of national security was not in doubt. Comey essentially outed every lie Hillary has told about her email server.

Since his obviously political move, tough. Comey has now been called on the carpet by no less than five Congressional panels that want to know why he found that Hilary breached national security but he still won’t recommend an indictment be handed down.

Likely GOP nominee Donald Trump also noted that Comey’s decision seems to be nakedly political.

“Hillary Clinton can’t keep her emails safe, and you know what, folks, she sure as hell can’t keep our country safe,” Trump said. He also noted that the investigation was “rigged” in Clinton’s favor.

“We have a crooked system, we have a rigged system, we have a dishonest press,” Trump said later in Cincinnati.

Comey is on the Hill being grilled by Congress. See a live feed of his appearance here.
