BLM shuts down Gay Pride Toronto parade with outrageous demands of ‘more cash,’ but that’s not all…

BLM wants money and removal of police floats, to name a few things…

The Toronto gay pride parade was brought to a screeching halt by Black Lives Matter protesters who demanded more money for black performers and the removal of police floats from the parade.

What’s worse, is that the parade organizers gave in.

The parade stood still for about 30 minutes until Pride Toronto executive director Mathieu Chantelois signed a paper agreeing to the thugs’ demands, CBC News reported.

Alexandra Williams, a co-founder of Toronto’s Black Lives Matter chapter, said they held the protest to hold the parade organizers accountable for their “anti-blackness.”

“It’s always the appropriate time to make sure folks know about the marginalization of black people, of black queer youth, black trans youth, of black trans people,” she told CBC News’ Natasha Fatah.

“We are not taking any space away from any folks. When we talk about homophobia, transphobia, we go through that too … It should be a cohesive unit, not one against the other. Anti-blackness needs to be addressed and they can be addressed at the same time, in the same spaces,” she said.

Pride Toronto released a statement about the protest.

“During the parade, BLM-TO started a conversation with us to explore how we can create an even more inclusive and safe festival. We, like BLM-TO have a commitment to ensure our most marginalized communities feel safe and welcome at the festival,” it read.

More inclusive as long as you don’t include the people who actually keep everyone safe at the parade.

What happened to not negotiating with terrorists?

Many people were outraged by the display and the fact that the parade organizers caved.
