Describing actor Jesse Williams as “the perfect example of a HOLLYWOOD plantation slave,” Fox News contributor Stacey Dash has liberals in an uproar.
Williams received BET’s 2016 Humanitarian Award for his support of the violent, anti-police Black Lives Matter movement and Dash wrote a blog, “Racist speech at BET Awards attacked white people,” tagging both the network and the actor as racists.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: BET is keeping racism and segregation alive and this past Sunday’s awards show proves it. Particularly the speech given by ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Jesse Williams, whose tirade after receiving the 2016 BET Humanitarian Award for his black activism was nothing short of an attack on white people.”
The outspoken “Clueless” star was also critical of BLM.
“There is no ‘oneness’ when it comes to Black Lives Matter,” Dash insisted. “They’ve planted the seed of segregation and no longer want to live in ‘perfect harmony,’ like the old song wished.”
But her harshest criticism was reserved for Williams and his acceptance speech, which talked about how the white man “uses and abuses us” — the actor is the son of a black father and a white mother. Ironically, Williams condemns white people for cultural appropriation, while appropriating his father’s culture.
Talking about “brands on our bodies,” he instructed the many fabulously wealthy black entertainers who live like royalty that they are not really free.
Dash points out that Williams says these things “while wearing expensive duds branded with designer logos.”
“You’ve just seen the perfect example of a HOLLYWOOD plantation slave!” she wrote. “Sorry, Mr Williams. But the fact that you were standing on that stage at THOSE awards tells people you really don’t know what you’re talking about. Just spewing hate and anger.”
Dash then gives the real clueless one a not very gentle reminder that BET is white-owned.
“Because you my man are just like everyone else hustling to get money,” she informed the actor. “But your cognitive dissidents has you getting it from THAT BYSTANDER whom YOU DONT NEED.”
