Black activists and social media warriors have teed off on Blaze TV host Tomi Lahren for her critique of Jesse Williams BET Awards speech but she isn’t taking it lying down.
Last week Lahren asked if the speech by Williams was more about bashing and police and white people than it was about black entertainment
“Was it a celebration of black entertainment or an opportunity to complain about the plight of wealthy black actors and musicians?” Lahren said in the “Final Thoughts” portion of her show “Tomi” on Blaze TV.
“I saw a lot of talent on that stage, but at the same time a whole lot of victimhood,” she added.
“The BET definition of a humanitarian is someone who perpetuates a war on cops,” she said in reference to the award Williams received.
“Black Twitter” joined together in a frenzied attack against the host soon after.

@TomiLahren keep your thoughts to yourself you call black people racist for fighting racism but won’t call out cops who kill black kids

@TomiLahren Ah, Tomi. You’re trying to deny that racism is an actual thing while being racist at the same time.

But Lahren wasn’t about to let that silence her.
Days later the 23-year-old took aim at her detractors in another “Final Thoughts” segment.
“Half-white Jesse Williams stands up at the BET Awards and bashes white people for being white and yet I’m the racist?” she asked. “What exactly are you being ‘woke’ to do? That’s what I don’t get. Please tell me in what way black Americans are not equal.”
That’s probably not going to gain her many fans from Black Lives Matter anytime soon.
