Actor Kevin Sorbo believes Jesus would cast a vote for Donald Trump.
The 57 year-old actor spoke with a photographer from TMZ at the Los Angeles airport Wednesday, weighing in on the presidential race.
“Well, I would have to say Trump,” Sorbo replied when he was asked who Jesus would vote for in November, “The lesser of two evils.”
The star, best known for his role in the TV show “Hercules,” disagreed with the TMZ reporter that a Middle Eastern Jesus would not be allowed into the U.S. if Trump was president.
“I don’t think that’s true,” he said. “Why wouldn’t he? Look I am Norwegian, that’s my heritage. If there’s Norwegians going around strapping bombs and blowing people up, you can check me.”
Noting that he has “nothing to hide,” Sorbo said “I don’t mind if you racial profile against me,”
“So why do people, if they have nothing to hide, why do they get upset about stuff? If they have nothing to hide. So they take one day out of your life to check you out, what’s wrong with that. Finger print me, check out my background, what’s the big deal.”
The actor also had some thoughts about presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“Every time I ask a Democrat what Hillary has done they never have a really good answer,” he said. “They have zero answers. She has more scandals around her than Nixon ever had. Watergate is a joke compared to what’s going on in the White House today.”
