Social media went wild on Tuesday after a report by Bloomberg News said former Heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was going to speak at the Republican national convention in support of Donald Trump.
But it seems everyone got into a tizzy for nothing.
While it is true that Tyson has indeed endorsed Trump there are no current plans to have him speak at the convention, according to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
Iron Mike Tyson was not asked to speak at the Convention though I’m sure he would do a good job if he was. The media make everything up!

The Bloomberg report also named former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, NASCAR chief Brian France and former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight as other potential speakers being courted by Trump.
Unfortunately, Trump haters on social media didn’t wait to get any facts before they jumped to slam Trump for having a convicted rapist speak at the convention.

Nothing says “I love women” like having Mike Tyson speak at your convention.

Will they be equally outraged when former President Bill Clinton, an accused rapist, speaks for Hillary?
