In today’s advanced age of information technology, Google continues to find itself smack dab in the middle of the 2016 presidential election.
In the latest news, Gmail users who support presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump are accusing Google of sending Trump campaign emails directly to their junk mail folders.
The Trump supporters complained that they had not received anything from the campaign in a while, but after checking their spam boxes they found a number of emails that were automatically placed there.
“I found Emails from both Trump, and his son in Spam,” one user wrote to The Gateway Pundit. “As a supporter, subscribed, donated, bought retail from Trump… so certain I am on all lists for contacting. I have received oodles of Email, until this month (June).
How pervasive is the problem?
According to Ad Age, 60 percent of emails from the Trump campaign last week “never reached inboxes. Instead, they were automatically relegated to recipients’ spam folders.”
