Following GOP nominee Donald Trump campaign’s announced that longtime campaign manager Corey Lewandowksi was getting the axe, it seems some insiders to the campaign are quite happy.

Trump’s New York State senior adviser and veteran, Michael Caputo, took to Twitter minutes after the news broke that Lewandowski had been fired, according to POLITICO.

Social media users immediately connected the events and implied he was referring to Lewandowski.

There was a different sentiment, though, from the Trump campaign on Lewandowski’s firing.

“The campaign is grateful to Corey for his hard work and dedication and we wish him the best in the future,” Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in a statement.
