Reporter Michelle Fields had a quick and nasty response Monday to the breaking news that Donald Trump reportedly fired Corey Lewandowski as his campaign manager.

Fields was employed at the pro-Trump Breitbart News website when she claimed she was physically accosted by Lewandowski during a press scrum. She posted a photo online showing her bruised arm and later filed a police report, although local prosecutors didn’t pursue the flimsy case.

Lewandowski claimed at the time that he never touched Fields and called her “delusional” and an “attention seeker.” Footage from security cameras later showed that he grab her arm to move her out of the way as she pursued Trump in an area that Secret Service said she wasn’t supposed to be.

Fields, who now works for The Huffington Post, took to social media Monday morning to rub in his face the firing of Lewandowski.
