In his quest to use the Orlando terrorist attack as a weapon to push his gun control agenda, President Obama flat-out lied about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
“Unfortunately, our politics have conspired to make it as easy as possible for a terrorist or just a disturbed individual, like those in Aurora and Newtown, to buy extraordinarily powerful weapons, and they can do so legally,” he told a crowd in Orlando on Thursday.
Not only didn’t Newtown shooter Adam Lanza legally purchase his firearms, he stole them from his mother.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Lanza did attempt to legally purchase a rifle but was rebuffed “because he did not want to wait for the required 14-day background check…”
Social media was quick to check the president on his “facts.”
