The Boston Globe’s idiotic mistake on cover of anti-gun ‘special’ issue did not go unnoticed

In its haste to be a liberal hero the Boston Globe made a clumsy mistake.

On the front page of its Thursday edition, the paper had a picture of an AR-15 rifle with the headline “Make It Stop,” a reference to the Orlando massacre.

Just one problem.

The gun that Omar Mateen used to murder 49 Americans was a Sig Sauer MCX semiautomatic rifle, not the oft vilified AR-15.

Not such a minor detail when you are attempting to shift the focus from Islamic terrorism to an inanimate object.

Social media did not let it go unnoticed.
