Talk about selective outrage.
Rep. John Lewis came out swinging against presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in the wake of the Orlando terror attack.
Apparently, Lewis felt Trump was too quick to politicize the tragedy, and let him know under no uncertain terms, that he wanted Trump to “shut up.”
Donald, you need to shut up. Give the American people time to grieve. https://t.co/1ucVrJk8Pa

Lewis was directly responding to a tweet from Trump calling for a temporary ban on Muslims and more vigilance in the fight against terror:
What has happened in Orlando is just the beginning. Our leadership is weak and ineffective. I called it and asked for the ban. Must be tough
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 12, 2016
Lewis’ response to Trump would probably have been less controversial if something wasn’t glaringly missing from his public outrage. After all, Democrats were quick to come out and use the latest terror attack as political ammo.
“We need to keep guns like the ones used last night out of the hands of terrorists or other violent criminals.” —Hillary on the FL attack

We need to stop terrorists from getting the weapons they need to carry out attacks. pic.twitter.com/Q6r7VVj9ds

Weapons of war like those used in Orlando and San Bernardino have no place on our streets.https://t.co/jTFExpjcPd

If the FBI is watching you for suspected terrorist links, you shouldn’t be able to just go buy a gun with no questions asked.
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) June 13, 2016
And Hillary wasted no time doing what she does best, shameless pandering:
We have to stand together and be proud together. There is no better rebuke to the terrorists and all those who hate. pic.twitter.com/jnFMG6J5Ac
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) June 13, 2016
Even in Spanish:
Tenemos que unirnos, sentir orgullo juntos. No hay mejor respuesta para los terroristas y a todos aquellos que odian pic.twitter.com/wQVmDQ321o

As noted by Twitchy, Hillary wasn’t the only one using the Orlando shooting that left at least 50 dead, and many more injured for political — and even monetary — gain.
OFA just sent a pro-gun control fundraising email with subject line “Orlando.” Really, @BarackObama?

And where is Lewis’ outrage on this? We’ll wait here.
